Because change impacts teams and the commitments they have made, it inevitably meets with resistance, apathy and surprise. Learning to facilitate change within your organization can make you a hero. Creating a culture of continuous change, however, can scale beyond your finite capacity and deliver lasting impact.
In this talk, Netflix Change Engineering Manager Barry Hawkins will frame the challenges organizations face who want to orchestrate change in a culturally-compatible way. He will share insights from his experience at Netflix, Riot Games, and other organizations. He will also share tips for making changes effectively within your organization, and how to establish the foundations for a culture of continuous change.
